Forty Three Days Till Lift Off!

In forty three days, on July 6, Team USA will take off from O'Hare, via Emirates Airlines, headed to a layover in Dubai and then to Johannesburg.  We are already hard at work on travel logistics and on our responses to the first brief for the project, which we received in early May, but getting our tickets for the flight and our hotel reservations certainly makes all this more real!  

Here is the team, working at Fox Valley Technical College:

 (In case any of you are wondering, I am safely sequestered on the phone for most meetings so far--more about this to come, but I am living in Arkansas.)

I am hoping to include you in the excitement as we prepare for the trip, have our adventure in Diepsloot/Johannesburg, and then return home to share our experience.
